INCREDIBLE BREAKING NEWS from Indiana!

The Indiana Republican supermajority has REJECTED Trump’s demand that they rig the state’s congressional district maps to remove ALL Democratic seats.

Indiana legislators have faced every kind of pressure imaginable during this process.

Several Republican legislators received “swatting” threats or death threats. And today the Heritage Foundation echoed President Trump’s threats to defund the entire state if Republicans failed to further rig their maps.

But Republicans (and Democrats) not only rejected Trump’s outrageous map, they voted it down in a LANDSLIDE.

As it turns out, bullies only succeed when they can divide us and terrorize us as individuals.

They look really small and weak when you stand up to them as a group.

Maybe the nation’s Republicans will learn something from this?

Without Indiana’s gerrymander, Donald Trump may not be able to draw himself another spineless Congress that will let him keep spitting on the Constitution.

Another takeaway from today’s victory is that state legislatures are super freaking important to the literal future of this country….Maybe the nation’s progressives will learn something today too!

The bottom line, though, is this:

THIS is why we keep fighting. Even in Republican supermajority states. Even though we lose a lot of battles.

Loud, persistent advocacy is how you win the war.
